As some other posters have noted, David's cut is just as much about sending a message to the defense as it was about getting rid of a substandard player. Will we be able to find someone else that can step in and play the position on a pro bowl level? Probably not. But it shows that nobody's job is safe- that incompetence will not be tolerated and it's time for people to start earning their keep. I can forgive GW if the next corner isn't a lockdown Deion Sanders. At least he's being proactive and shaking things up.

he was horrible in 07 but he was alot better in 08. I think I will actually miss him even though he got burnt all the time

I remember when we signed him away from Indy...we were all happy

His first game he recovered a fumble and ran it all the way back to the 1....it all went down hill from there
