Shows a gif of cooks looking frustrated after he scored, and right at the end it shows Thomas coming in and bumping him out the frame.

WTF why are the saints trying to run his trade value down? are they hoping to do it so they have an excuse NOT to trade him? or are they complete idiots?

because I really don't see how every player involved hasn't received a phone call telling them if they continue the tweets they will be heavily fined, at least any "well run" team would have already done this

nah, that was the weeks after the rams game when he was pouting like bitch. he hadn't really had a game like that in a while so that was his "me" moment that "he's the man" and that "thomas and snead yellow haired metro" are a bunch of punks.

That is a very immature and reckless thing to do as the Saints social media rep. Wait until Cooks is traded before this type of crap, because you don't know where the relationship is between the Saints and Cooks, if it's being mended, crap like this doesn't help.

If it's done and the team is trying to keep it quiet, then this still seems kinda dumb.

Do people really believe this? I've seen this 100 times since Snead's Instagram post, Thomas' tweet, and now this GIF.

I just can't see a conversation going:

Titans' GM: "We're prepared to give you our 2nd round pick for Cooks"

Loomis: "No way. We want at least a 1st round pick. In the last two years Brandin has 2,300 yards, and 18 TDs. He's 23 and has two years left on his rookie deal."

TGM: "There is no chance I am giving up a 1st round pick. Have you seen the rap lyrics that Michael Thomas posted on his Twitter account?"

ML: "Damn it, you're right. We'll take the 2nd."

what else are we to believe when the team is making no effort, none, to stop this public BS going on at the same time they are hoping to trade cooks?

there are only 2 reasons I can think of to not try and make cooks seem as valuable to the team as can be and that would be if they realty want to keep him but want to use this situation to show him he isn't worth what he thinks he is worth, or they have lost control of the locker room

Well you could believe that those tweets are irrelevant and the trade price of Cooks will be determined by the price of everything everywhere, supply and demand. You have multiple teams interested in Cooks, they aren't changing their bids based on player tweets, they'll change their bids based on the bids of the other teams.

This guy gets it

Y'all simple minded fricks think that the information the media is privy to, and the information front offices use to make trades are the same? GTFO
