I am sure Ryan had plenty of input with this signing, being a player who played for his brother. If we are going to entrust him to fix the defense, let the man pick the players he wants. If the player blows, it's not a steep investment.

I am okay with this. I think it will yield better fruit that expected. The one angle that I found intriguing is the Ryan brothers connection. Rex drafted him and I am pretty sure that a call was made and information and tidbits passed along on the Good bad and the ugly.
I don't think he will be all world not even all conference here but I think he will be serviceable and at least Rob knows exactly what he is getting.
