Carl Smith is free since the Seahawks made a change. Need to bring him in to finish the job.

Saints deserve everything that’s coming if they hire this garbage.

I'm sure a doughboy can get the respect of our locker room.
Dude would be turned into beignets in a week

They're just killing time waiting to hire Kubiak or Grease.

Unfortunately it’s slim pickins for us. What highly sought after candidates want to risk their careers coaching for this team? No QB, meh O-line, below avg skill positions, zero tight ends.

An ex-OC from the Bears? Seriously?

Clearly Dennis Allen is finding it hard to resist hiring a fellow red markers coach.

Making a trade for Fields?

But seriously, just kicking every stone hoping to find a lucky gem?

He was the OC for Joe Moorehead at Miss. St in 2018...where MSU ranked 10/14 in total offense (second to last in passing). He was fired after one season as Chicago's OC.

Either no one wants the Saints OC job, or this is yet another instance of Loomis trying to show just how smart he his. Draft a good prospect from a power conf. program? Nah. Let's trade up for a raw prospect with moderate production at a small school. No one knows talent like we do!!!!

I cannot recall the Bears offence as being anything but anemic in recent memory.

To be fair, the offense was Moorhead's baby, which Joe aborted

Brady's offense wasn't any good at Carolina, but Buffalo hired him, and we have many here that want him

hired him as QB coach then promoted him as interim OC when they fired their OC mid-season. he had to prove to them he could do it and he did.

Fair. My point was more players and fit matters. I'm certainly not stumping for getsy, but I think a lot of good OCs woulda struggled with the bears this season
