Hopefully we get a good FS in the draft that he can mentor.

It's looking more and more like the Saints are setting themselves up to take the best player available.

Luv it. There's some tread still left on the tires.

Immediately becomes our best safety as soon as he steps one foot on the field which says more about our current crop of safeties than it does about an aging but solid veteran.

I can't wait for the draft now. The possibilities are many now.

I think we get two good years out of him. Definently better than what we had.

Hell yeah to the fourth power. What a great signing! I had been hoping but didn't really think we would get him too. Greer and Sharper move our secondary from a D grade to a solid B+. Now if we can replace Shanle we would be in business. I would still like to draft Vontae Davis in the first and another safety later on for depth. Pick up a bruising running back to help out Reggie and we're Super Bowl Bound.

Great sign. Still favor the idea of drafting safety that can fill in a couple years from now.

That ROTO link was really down on the signing. Basically called it a waste of time and money. Sheesh.

Sharper and Harper, what you guys think? He's a upgrade over the slop we have now, but I'd still go big time safety in the draft. What this does is it allows us to trade down, draft a safety for grooming, and allows us to draft a LB in the first.

we need to find a trading parter to trade down with. No doubt about it. We get a safety late first and a LB in the second, but it al depends on who is there. could work out better vice versa

I think you could still see Malcom Jenkins in the 1st round if he's still there; Sharper's still solid but he's aging and it's not like he'll be around for 5 more years so you might as well pick up somebody for the future.

I really like Louis Delmas out of Western Michigan. That guy can play.
