Saints show on WWL

i dont know how people tune in. WWL's model is so outdated. I timed it once, at the half hour break there was 12mins of commercials and news. They came back and had like 8 mins of show time.


do they really think people tune in to the radio to get their news updates? Especially in the middle of sports talk? its 2017. No one is listening to the radio to hear the news. Satelite radio is already burying them to begin with

If they need the commercials and news in the show, they should just go ahead and do 30 solid minutes of show and then say see next hour while we have 30 minutes of commercials. Nobody wants to listen to 5 minutes of show and 10 minutes of commercials.

how many listeners do you think they get in the 18-30 year old demo? a few hundred? I don't know how people put up with stations like WWL in this day and age.

They have to take commercial breaks from commercial breaks on WWL. Each segment gets through 1.5 callers and they usually ask the 2nd caller to hold while they take another commercial break.

The only time to listen to WWL is after a big win or a big loss. Why? Because Bobby is going to be drunk and the calls are going to be amazingly entertaining.
