Looks like we are finally getting to the range of candidates that would actually take the job if we offered it.

Keep me posted

This one would be a disaster. Do we want a QB coach for a QB who threw for 13 TDs in 2 seasons? Yikes

Sadly this is probably about as good as the Saints can get, because nobody worth a shite wants to work with Dennis Allen.

The Saints can easily hire a better candidate. This is Dennis Allen.

Why is it being repeated that the Saints are getting turned down? They haven't even had a 2nd interview with anyone.

Two of the main guys are preparing for a playoff game this weekend yet everyone melts.

Only one that's silent and 100% available is the Rams coach

Mike Sullivan worked with Derek Carr leading up to the 2014 Draft, just a few years after Sullivan served as @DCarr8's QB coach with the #Giants. So there's history and respect there from Derek's end for sure

Derek and David Carr! Sign me up!

Hope this is not a sign that they are striking out on the actual guys with potential. Not sure anyone is focused on the Steelers as a hotbed for an OC or offensive playcalling.

I think there are fair questions to ask about any guy that would attach his name to Dennis Allen and this lame duck situation.

Eberflus is in the same situation and he was able to hire Waldron.

The Saints should've been able to hire Waldron or Robinson.

Looks like they are both off the table now.

Bet the Saints get a griese or Sullivan. Maybe Kubiak. All 3rd and 4th tier options.

Robinson still on the table—interviewing with Steelers and Raiders.

I think Kubiak would be a good choice too, just a bit young but they’re hiring HC’s young nowadays

Greise is kind of where I'm leaning as far as who I might want the most.

Sounds like he might get the new England job(robinson)

Griese would probably be next on my list out of those names.

This might be the worst candidate available

So naturally, the Saints hired him.

Why would any legit OC’s want to come here when they will be out of a job after next season?

More exposure. Coaching ladders are hard enough to ascend with the nepotism going on, so avoiding jobs is probably the last thing an aspiring coach wants to do.
