Was it really that easy? Not saying it was an AFC North murderer’s row…but we had five game against teams that made the divisional round. A lot of talk about our schedule sucking was assuming the Bucs would be a disaster with Baker, the Texans would be one of the worst teams in the NFL, and the packers and lions would be mediocre.

Not really defending Allen, but just saying it ended up being harder than we all thought.

You’ll get downvoted, but six of our games were against playoff teams. We went 1-5 in those games.

It’s always harder with DA giving away games. But, ultimately, DA will always keep you soft.

The NFL is not like college nobody cares about rankings and as long as you make the playoffs you got a shot. The giants won 2 Super Bowls being 9-7

The Saints had GB beat and blew their load. Win that, we’re playing tonight and might be winning.

Easiest schedule we’ve had in over a decade.

It was really that easy and Dennis Allen crapped the bed horribly.

Easiest schedules based on opponents records were atlanta, Saints, Cowboys and Dolphins. Miami and Dallas won the easy games, we did not.

We played the Panthers twice, the bears, the titans, the patriots and the vikings. All those teams finished last in their division. The giants were terrible, but Washington tanked so that’s the only reason they weren’t last.

We played the colts, Vikings, bears, and giants when they were playing their backup QBs.

The Packers are a young team and took a long time to gel. We played them at the beginning of the year when they were very vulnerable and went 2-6 to start the year. They lost to teams like the falcons, raiders and broncos early on and the two teams they beat were us and the bears. Similar story for the Texans. They went 3-4 to start the season and got beat by atlanta and Carolina

Outside of the division, we only played 5 teams with a winning record and only won 1 of those games.

You are what your record says you are.

Mediocrity in a word.

The roster with this year’s schedule should have produced a Division winner.

That means it’s the Coaching staff’s responsibility for failure.

Arguably, this is the second year in a row this is true.

Saints management is patiently waiting for CDA to become something he will never become: a competent NFL Head Coach.

Saints fans are Charlie Browns to the team being Lucy-

No, the fans want Allen gone. Nobody is defending keeping Allen. We aren’t falling for a trick, we are being forced to endure this torture. If anything, it’s the scene from Misery and Saints fans are strapped to the bed and Loomis is swinging hammers.

Agreed.

While the fans may want Allen gone, looks like we’re stuck with him for (what will be) another mediocre season.

Winning on the field is not the first priority in this organization.
