New Orleans Saints target new doctors to join medical staff for 2017 season: sources

Orthopedic specialists Dr. Larry "Chip" Bankston and Dr. Michael Hartman have emerged as leading candidates to join the New Orleans Saints' medical staff for the 2017 season, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.
Bankston and Hartman would replace Drs. Deryk Jones and Misty Suri, who were fired last week because of a misdiagnosis of cornerback Delvin Breaux's fractured fibula, according to the team.
Saints coach Sean Payton said last week the club would fill the vacancies on a "short-term" basis for the 2017 season, then seek "a long-term solution" after the season.

If they add a Banskton, the LSU to Saints pipeline would open.
