Kamara in the 2nd round wouldn't be a bad pick if needs at CB and DE are already addressed.

If we can get a stud like Kamara in the 3rd i'm for it obviously

I meant why spend a second on Kamara when you can get a player like Sproles/Bush in the third. Potentially anyway

Saints drafting Kamara would be a colossal frickup, because to get him they'll have to spend a first or second round pick

We need playmakers. You get Kamara in the second round, you take him and don't look back. He is a hand/glove fit for this offense.

I think Curtis Samuel has a chance to be a great pro but this has me cautious on spending a pick on him. im no scout

quote:

WEAKNESSES Plays with some hip tightness that make his play more linear than fluid. Needs to work on release against press. Could get hung up off the line and into his routes by athletic, press-cover slot men. Has unnatural hands that fight the throw. Will default to body catches. Didn't have as many "pro-style" touches as teams would like. Averaged just 5.5 yards at the catch point, and several carries came on jet sweeps and stretch plays from shotgun. Average ball-tracking and adjustments to poor throws. Wasn't asked to handle blocking responsibilities very often.

Kamara is projected to go in the late first or early second round of the draft.

Don't know about that.

If we've already grabbed a DE, CB I wouldn't mind using our 3rd. He'd be a great fit here and was very good at Tenn last year.

I like Curtis Samuel as well.

Yea I don't like him as a traditional WR. Don't see him as a substitute for Cooks. I meant if people want Kamara to come in and do the things that Sproles and Bush did, then Samuel might fit that role even better at a cheaper price. He has unadultered speed, and doesn't need all world hands to catch screens, flats, and arrow routes. Get him the ball in space and let the 4.31 speed do the work

LINK

quote:

Anyone else feel like A Kamara is a poor man's version of Sony Michel? Seems like both are about the same type of player, but with Michel being more explosive and jukey. Tenn fans should know about Michel breaking them ankles. It is going to be awesome to see Chubb and Michel join the league with other UGA guys like Gurley and Crowell.

quote:

They are the same type of back and Michel is probably faster in the 40 and has better juke moves. It isn't a knock on Kamara, just shows you how much of a stud Michel will be.

quote:

Both are similar in build but Michel can do just about everything better than Kamara. Speed, agility, pass catching, concussion resistance, etc. Kamara was the 2nd stringer behind J Hurd. J Hurd isn't anything close to be on Chubb's level. Gurley > Michel > Chubb > karmara > hurd.

Georgia fans are fricking retarded

This is a good analysis other than Kamara proving to be the best rookie in the NFL this year! Lmao at some of the experts on this board.

Revisionist history, but bold predictions on players who have never played in the NFL are usually accurate.
