The LHSAA sent the following letter to member schools regarding that request:
As a tribute to the importance of high school football and basketball programs and the outstanding life skills they teach young men and women, the New Orleans Saints and the New Orleans Pelicans are creating the New Orleans Saints High School Helmet Program and the New Orleans Pelicans High School Jersey Program.
The Saints and Pelicans would like all LHSAA Football and Basketball schools to participate and donate either a team jersey, team helmet, or both if your school has each sport. The jerseys and helmets will be displayed in the Mercedes Benz Superdome and the Smoothie King Center respectively.

I like the idea. I believe there's an arena in Minnesota that displays all the HS hockey jerseys from around the state.

Will the LHSAA ask the Saints that the jerseys be seperated by select/non-select? If they do not I could see the non-select schools getting squeezed out of ever getting any meaningful space or competing for the best spots in the dome.
