I saw the exact same issues last night in the LSU game against Syracuse. Corners and linebackers playing 10 yards off the ball in a deep zone while the offense dinked and dunked up and down the field uncontested. Why do teams even run that kind of defense outside of a 2:00 offense situation? Defeating the big play doesn't mean shiite if you give up 20 small plays. The end result is actually worse because it wears down your defense by never allowing them to rest.
