Im assuming he knows something we all dont know. This whole season i imagine he's been watching close attention and already has a pretty good idea of who he wants to bring in. I trust you mr payton, lets get it

True but I feel like SP has a plan. He wants to go to a 3-4 for a reason and I feel like we will have a DC before the draft that way he has some input on the draft.

Will Smith/Jordan/Hicks are pretty much ideal ends. Though i would assume Hicks would have to play nose to start.

Bunkley at nose.

cut vilma, the reason he was trading for was because in the jets switch to the 3-4 defense, he was terrible

I think this makes Smith and Vilma restructure.

Hiring Jim Tomsula would be a good choice as well.

And I'm not trying to be troll/homer/retard here, but Ricky Jean-Francois is a free agent, and him following Tomsula would help with depth. I will be very interested on where Hicks lines up at. He has the size to play NT, but also has the athleticism to play at one of the "5 tech" spots on certain occasions.

I honestly did not see the firing coming, i figured he would have 1 more shot this year, but SP feels the need to go another direction, and i trust him and the Front Office to do the right thing.

2013 should be pretty interesting to see what happens.

Translation: we want to interview someone on either SF's or Baltimore's staff.

agreed. it shocked me as well mainly because we remember how lucky SP thought he was to land Spags after the GW debacle. Sp really coveted spags. oh well. one and done! I can see his reasoning though. It appears to take too long to "grasp" his system and our window is closing and time is running out.

We have a 5 year window. That's a big window.

Who though?
Ed Donatell?
Jim Leavitt?
Greg Jackson?
Jim Tomsula?
Don Martindale?
Clarence Brooks?
Teryl Austin?
Ted Monachino?

Would anyone be happy if we hired one of these guys?
