And a fat chick staring into the camera. All other draft rooms have 20/25
dudes in suits high five-ing each other.

It was hilarious and filled me with much confidence.

I don’t know…maybe the other teams had 20 or so draft analysts breaking down every aspect of the draft to select the best prospect of the first round and we had Loomis and his 4 boyz?

Are you saying we are a clown franchise because we don’t have 30 people with suits standing around and clapping because we drafted the 5th rated receiver?

Not melting, just an observation. Image is everything, unfortunately. When you see a bunch of dudes in suits acting like they got what they wanted, it show’s confidence in the franchise, like it or not. Then they show the Saints, and it’s totally different.. 4 dudes and Loomis standing around.

He's just pissed that we didn't get Murphy. Sometimes grown men just don't know how to act.

Uh, no. This isn't an election or popularity contest. George Santos could make the picks for all I care, as long as we win games. Image is meaningless in a sport. That's why we like it.

No it doesn’t. It looks like a bunch of low paid interns supporting their boss no matter what he does.

The Saints organization is still viewed as a top run franchise in the league. If anything, maybe the Saints don’t have to prove anything by having 25 yes men clap like seals.

You are calling us a clown franchise because we dont have 10 extra people in the room?
We had all our main executives in there making the call.

If i was an executive, I would prefer it set up like the Saints. Your scout team can get you all the intel they can leading up to the draft, which is great, but what extra value do they bring in the draft room other than making noise and being on the camera?

I would assume every well run team in the league has all the players evaluations and possible draft scenarios mapped out long before draft night. I dont see any need to have 20 to 30 people in the draft room if you've done the right work beforehand.

I see no problem with Loomis and his Executive's gathering for the draft, while all the analysts and player personnel get the night off.
