Saints Draft: details if you did not know...

Round 1: Jenkins, Malcolm CB tOSU

Round 2: No Pick: New York Giants from New Orleans for Shockey plus or 5h round pick.
Or Per NFL.com: The New York Giants receive the New Orleans Saints 2009 2nd and 5th Round pick for Jeremy Shockey. If the New Orleans Saints re-sign LB Jonathan Vilma, the New York Jets are owed the Saints 2009 2nd round pick, the Giants are then awarded the Saints 2010 1st Round pick.
This is confusing, because it all hinges on Vilma's taking so many snaps and our resigning him.

Round 3: No Pick: New York Jets from New Orleans. This (if I remember right) was from the Jets for LB Jonathan Vilma and we lost a conditional 2 or 3 round next year depending on how Vilma played... guess it turned to be a three.

Round 4: We pick 16th in this round or the 116 over all.
We also pick 8 aka 118. This is from the from New York Jets... I don't know for what.

Round 5: No pick: See Round two for details.

Round 6: we lost the 14th pick in this round with a trade with the Packers. This was because last year he Packers concluded their draft by trading the 237th overall pick to New Orleans (who picked Adrian Arrington) for the Saints' sixth-round pick next year.

Round 7: Pick Pending
