Center was an issue before we got Unger, I hope we re-sign him.

QB was a problem before Drew Brees, I hope we re-sign him.

I am of the opinion that we need to do both not just Brees.

Brees makes mistakes with pressure up the middle. He needs a center. Some QBs can adjust better, especially if they are taller. Unger needs to be re-signed.

He only just turned 30 and can probably play till he's 35. We need to lock him up. He might not be a top 5 center anymore, but he's still very good.

I want both of them re-signed. However, if there is no Drew Brees at QB, the Maytag repair man can play center for all I care.

Every QB makes mistakes with pressure up the middle

p the middle

QBs that are taller and are more mobile can handle pressure better up middle.

Brees works well with the pocket collapsing around him and still makes things happen. He doesn't perform as well with the pressure coming straight ahead. FIFY

Brees is pretty damn mobile.

Really all the great QB's that learned to use the pocket struggle heavily with internal pressure. Tom Brady was "washed up" a few years ago because their guard play was so bad. He had an 87 Passer Rating in 2013 as a result and only completed ~60% of his passes.
