Rams coach Jeff Fisher is closing in on a dubious NFL record: Most games lost ever by a head coach.
After Sunday’s come-from-ahead loss to the Dolphins, Fisher’s career coaching record stands at 173-162-1. He’s now tied with Tom Landry (whose career record was 250-162-6) for second place on the career loss list.
Dan Reeves, whose career coaching record was 190-165-2, owns the all-time record for losses, so Fisher needs to lose just three more games to tie the record and four more games to have the record all to himself. The Rams’ next four games are at New Orleans, at New England, home against the Falcons and at Seattle, so it wouldn’t be at all surprising if Fisher owns the all-time loss record in four weeks.
Although Fisher may own the career loss record, he’s not even in the all-time Top 10 in career wins. And among the 17 coaches who have coached at least 270 career games, Fisher ranks dead last with a .516 winning percentage.
If Fisher does set the career losses record before the season ends, that means the Rams’ record would be, at best, 6-10. Considering that Fisher famously declared before the season that “7-9 bulls–t” would be unacceptable, it’s hard to see how Rams owner Stan Kroenke could justify bringing Fisher back if he goes 6-10 or worse. Setting the career losses record could be Fisher’s final accomplishment as a coach.

But the rams have had the Saints number for years.

what kills me is they took the QB they did and won't even let him see the field....well maybe he can if me stands on the bench.

Compared to Jeff Fisher, Greg Mcmahon's job security is nothing special.

The Rams will fricking DESTROY us. Seems like the Rams always beat us no matter how shitty they are.
