Let's bring in a pure 3-4 LB to play in our fringe 4-3 defense. Brilliant idea seeing as it worked with so many before this.

And if he signs he immediately becomes our 2nd best pass rusher.. so

What else can they do at this point? Let him stand up and rush the passer when we operate out of the 3-4, let him put his hand in the dirt and rush the weakside.. doesnt really matter, it's better than what we have.

He looks like Thor. Our defense needs Thor and a Hulk and Hulkbuster and every other Avenger possible but you have to start with one.

Also, maybe The Brees extension gets done now.

Paul Kruger had an 11.6 pass rushing productivity which was 11th best for 3-4 OLBs last year. His 54 total pressures was 12th best

What is the difference between him and Mingo?

Saints hate Lsu players

One is a free agent and the other cost a 5th round pick. One has played at a high level in the NFL in his career, the other never has. One can play DE, the other cannot.

I mean, don't get me wrong here, we need help badly on the defensive side of the ball and Kruger was great in Baltimore. However, down here it still seems like we have no clue what we're running and none of these fringe guys have worked out for us.

The above statement was completely true under Rob Ryan, I don't agree with this under Allen. The defense seems to be competent. Just young and lacking depth in certain areas, such as pass rusher. Adding Kruger to Jordan, Edebali and Gwachum is a move that makes a ton of sense.

So stop trying, huh? Right.

"THE FRONT OFFICE IS SO CLUELESS! DON'T THEY SEE WE NEED TO FIND MORE TALENT???"

"THE FRONT OFFICE IS SO CLUELESS! NONE OF THIS TALENT THEY SIGN WILL WORK OUT!!!"

I love our fan base sometimes.

It's good to see someone who truly believes that Sean Payton and Loomis have at least some desire to win football games.

He played with Ellerbe in Baltimore and Robertson in Cleveland. Hopefully this will help keep him in the building

I will be ecstatic if we sign Kruger.

He signed a big contract with Cleveland and coaching changes and philosophy had him out of position last year.

If he didn't have such a large contract, there is no way they would have cut him IMO.

He will immediately become our 2nd best pass rusher behind Cam.

I'm surprised this isn't blowing up yet. The threads complaining about our terrible FO, Oline, and Pass rush always blow up. Now we go after a guy that can be a difference maker and no excitement. Come on breauxs!
