Not mad about this deal. Grando will earn the contract. Cesar Ruiz however? The jury is out to see if he ever earns that extension.

Currently 3rd in the NFL in pressures. Turner a question mark. Jordan has a cliff somewhere in sight. Basically had no choice, but glad it worked out.

Man that’s awesome. If granderson has hit his ceiling - I think it’s a good deal for the saints. If granderson gets better - this will be one of best veteran contracts in the league for the saints.

Guaranteed money is largely irrelevant with how we structure (and, more importantly re-structure) contracts. JUST FWIW.

My car this year cost more than the one I bought 2012. Crazy man

PS
You can go ahead and state that its the largest guaranteed contract for someone who served time also.

Underrated part of this is it pretty much locks up our DL for next few years at reasonable cost.
Cam has a year or two left
Saunders/Shepherd have 2 more years on their deal
Granderson w 4 year ext

Breese/Foskey are rookies. Roach a year to year guy but great depth. Hell even Turner has more time on his deal… but better figure out a way to stay healthy.

Gives us the space to spend assets on OL/S/LB/RB this off-season

Loomis is far more respected around the League than you may
think.
