I'd say Manning and Brees are the top 2, with everyone else being beneath them.

I don't see how anyone can deny Brees is a better QB right now than Manning, or anyone else in the league. Yeah, if we are talking about active players over the course of their career, its Brady & Manning.....and then Brees, until Brees does this for a couple more years, then surpasses them.

The only arguement is Manning basically calling all of the plays for Indy. Even that one doesn't measure up though.

Yeah, that definitely doesnt matter. He's only the single most dangerous player in the NFL, no biggie.

naw, if Brees has 2 more years, after this one, playing at this level, I think he'll be better than Manning, with a super bowl ring or 2.

Drew Brees is three years younger than Peyton Manning and for the last 5 years of so Brees has been one of the best; last year and so far this year, he's the best.

What you've failed to mention is that Peyton was coming off knee surgery, missed the training camp, Marvin Harrison was coming off injury too, and his line was blocking like shite, both run and pass because they had 3 new starters or so.

what you've failed to mention is that colston and shockey were hurt for big chunks of last year. that street goes both ways

Are we talking now or legacy?

Now is Brees without question. Conversely, legacy is Manning without question imo.

Big Ben definitely is the beneficiary of being drafted into the perfect system for him

No one holds that against Montana.

I have rooted for the Saints longer than most -- maybe all -- other posters in this thread have been alive. I watched Archie play his heart out on shitty teams, and I saw the Dome Patrol take care of business. I lived through Mecom and I lived through Ditka. There are no more loyal Saints fans,

IMHO, the best QB in the NFL is Peyton Manning.

Brees is coming up on Brady for #2, though.

Montana was the shite as an 80 year old in KC so...there's that.
