If the saints do not run the ball and take pressure off Brees we will not make the playoffs.
It will be another wasted year with our future hall of fame qb.
We have to run the ball and get the dam defense off the fricking field.

You got AP run his arse into the ground, who gives a frick. We have to play a different style of ball.

I am sick of this shite.

The problem is CSP lost his creativity when it comes to play calling. Everyone knows when we are going to run.

I agree, I think we should have lined up AD and let him keep pounding it. We fell behind and CSP changed the game plan.

I think AP was mostly running on 1st down. I don't believe I saw him run it on 3rd down or us mixing up the pass 1st, 2nd down.
I see the saints have improved on defense, not saying it will be best in the league but it's gotten better. This week will be tough match up.

The Oline has get the RBs a place to run.

That hasn't happened for a while with the Saints.

I saw a huge improvement from last year in preseaon against not so great QB's. Did not translate in the first game of the season. We will see who starts at CB against NE.

I dont think this is necessarily true. We have been able to run the ball just fine in the past, however, we can be inconsistent. We didnt get much push at all against the Vikings who do have a stout Dline to be fair to us.

What does Tom Herman think of the Saints running game?

Where is this narrative coming from? We ran the ball 20+ times last game and didn't break 70 yards. They're trying and just not very good at it.

I think the issue is all of the players packages. Because we switch out the running backs so much we get predictable same thing happen the last season with sproles

It doesn't help that Payton's RB rotation philosophy makes the running game very predictable. It's been hard to understand why he refuses to let his RBs get consistent snaps before pulling them every drive.
