Basically these two were seen as the best of the best after their rookie years. Kamara kept it up last season while Latt was bad at first but came on strong.

This year they were both far below their rookie seasons.

To me, the regression of those two guys killed the season. Even without a no. 2 wr, we’d be fine with this cast and 2017/18 Kamara.

And this d with a 2017 lattimore...damn

Sucks that our guys get worse not better

Defenses keyed on Kamara and we kept feeding right into it.

I think he had a pretty solid year as well. But he has too many lapses to be considered a shut down corner. Kamara just looked so limited athletically this year. Not to mention he was terrified of contact after the seahawks game

Kamara is better as the auxillary guy and closer after letting the main back wear the defense down over 2.5 quarters. Kamara is not a feature back. We tried to force Kamara into an Ingram/Kamara role when we should’ve moved Latavius into the Ingram role and let Kamara keep being himself. He was also hurt most of the year. Go back and look at how we used Murray vs the Bears, that was the formula this offense needed against good teams.

I really don’t think Lattimore trains in the offseason, part of his problem.

And I think Kamara is bigger and less shiftier which doesn’t make him as good. He just doesn’t play with passion like he used to either. I wouldn’t say Lattimore regressed that much. Kamara has regressed a lot

Kamara needs to stay out that strip club.

One disappointment from this season was not getting Murray more involved.

Dude probably should have had at least 220 attempts, but he didn’t even reach 150.

Didn't Lattimore just shutdown Diggs for 2 receptions for 19 yards?

Jenkins had Diggs most of the game. There were times early in the game where Latt was in the sideline.

Don't know if he was dealing with an injury, but we also played a lot of zone all game. Which is surprising when you consider Jenkins, Latt, P Rob & PJ all play better in man coverages

I can't speak to Chimera because I think it's all above his shoulders.

But I think lattimore is lazy, at times. I don't feel like he's locked in every week

Lattimore is all talk. I always thought he was overrated. Kamara is banged up and also hindered by Brees throwing limitations.
