I've pretty much given up on Reggie. Ive said since we got him that hes not going to develop into a main back because he runs side ways and fricking backwards when he gets the ball. Yeah he CAN be a game changer because he has speed and you know that he has big play potential in him but 9 times out of 10 he goes for short yards or negative yards. I get sick of watching him run east west trying to force a big run instead of running forward taking some hits and gaining what you can get but he hasnt learned that in 2 years, i dont think he ever will.

I haven't given up on Reggie. I just wish they'd use him in the slot instead of at RB. He'd be more effective on quick slants, slot screens, etc. Running out of the backfield is killing him. Plus, he needs to stay healthy!

I have never been on the Bush bandwagon but I've also never called him a bust.
I still wont, just yet.
But I am definitely reaching the point where I dont think Bush will ever be the main RB on a team, he will always have to be the 2nd guy.
If that assessment is right, no matter how effective he is as that 2nd guy, he would be a bust as a 2nd overall pick.

Everyone in the world knows reggie will never carry the load but after the last two weeks why is he still on everyones shite list?

The offense is better without Reggie, but it isn't reggie's fault. It is Payton's. For some reason, when reggie is healthy payton feels that the ball needs to go to him 70% of the time. If he wouldn't force the ball to him, Reggie would be a lot more effective.

One of the announcers (Collingsworth) was dogging Reggie's dance moves big-time. He did insist on bouncing things outside in spite of the usual Soldier Field POS turf that was not going to allow that...

Theres no changing him now. He has been running like this since high school. Saints werent going to draft him and expect him to run between tackles. Dude is soft and I'm getting tired of it. Either screen it to him or split him out wide or get that count off the field.

I don't think he is a bust but we aren't using him correctly. Someone has already mentioned it, but use him like the Bears use Hester. Even put him in the backfield on 3rd downs but as a true RB? No way. I don't know the general consensus on PT, but I really like him and think he's the answer there.
I'd dangle RB out there to see if someone was stupid and wanted to give up numerous picks, but otherwise use him as a WR/3rd down back. He can be a very good player in this role.
