KEEP IN MIND THAT (ASSUMING YOU'RE AN LSU FAN) - A GREAT LSU MATCHUP ON THE SATURDAY PRIOR THE SAINTS GAME IS AMAZING AND ADDS 2 FULL POINTS TO YOUR TRIP. ALL THE SAINTS FANS GATHER AT AN LSU BAR AND IT'S SOMETIMES MORE FUN THAN THE SAINTS GAME.

8. Los Angeles Rams This would be a cool trip with a girlfriend or wife but not with a buddy unless you and your buddy see eye to eye on going out, eating, hotels, etc. etc. You'd also have to be adept at driving as Los Angeles is a miserable city for public transit. The stadium is a dump (haven't been there but have driven past it) and the hotels in the fun areas (Beverly Hills, downtown LA) aren't cheap. Strip clubs irrelevant in Los Angeles IMO - like Vegas you'd get terrible bang for your buck and you should just go chill at the Chateau Marmont or the 5 star hotels in Beverly Hills and stargaze. If you have the itch maybe try an Eros.com and see if you can spend an hour or two with one of your favorite porn stars in lieu of a strip club.

Game atmosphere 4/10
City 9/10
Ticket and Hotel Cost 2/10 tickets probably cheap but hotels killer
Total score: 17/30
Money no object: 13/20

7. Atlanta: 14/20

6. Carolina 14/20

5. Buffalo is a blast in a trashy, bro road trip kind of way - they are crazy arse fans and they have decent strip clubs in downtown-ish Buffalo. There isn't much to do except football and booze and maybe a road trip to Canada. Shitty downtown, shitty hotels but still a fun time. Would help this weekend if LSU has a fun game the day before. One of my favorite Saints road trip stories is from Buffalo - it was week 2 or 3 I think in 2009 and it was a 1PM kickoff. Me and Lambert grabbed a ride from our hotel to the stadium with the Saints Spanish radio play by play guys. By 11AM the Bills fans were already so wasted and rowdy that they were throwing full beer cans at us from like 200 yards away, too drunk to realize that they were coming up 159 yards short of hitting us and that they were wasting perfectly good beers. Buffalo Bills fans are a glorious mess

Game atmosphere - 8.5/10
City 5.5/10
Ticket and Hotel Cost 10/10 cheap
Total score: 24/40
Money No Object: 14/20

4. Tampa 16/20

3. Green Bay is tremendously overrated in my opinion. The drive to the stadium is over 2 hours from Milwaukee during gameday patterns and there is frick all to do around the stadium itself except overpay for shitty beers and listen to shitty cover bands. If you have a large crew that you can tailgate with that would help mitigate this. Milwaukee is a fun town and I'd definitely recommend staying there and driving up on gameday. Decent strip clubs in Green Bay but they'd be too packed on game weekend. Milwaukee has a surprisingly bad strip club scene - nothing good downtown and the only New Orleans or Vegas caliber strip club is 20 minutes away and plays shitty music with an annoying 1980's hair band type deejay.

Game atmosphere - 10/10
City 6.5/10
Ticket and Hotel Cost 3/10 hotel in Milwaukee not bad tickets rough
Total score: 20/30
Money no object: 16.5/20

1. tie Minnesota I saw the Saints crush the Vikings last time they were in Minneapolis, although it was in the Metrodome. The new stadium is fricking badass, visually it's my favorite in the league currently although I've only jogged around it. Am going to see Coldplay there later this summer so I can update at that point (although I'll be on the floor per usual so won't be able to add views on perspective, etc). Minneapolis is a GREAT strip club city, GREAT hotel city (tons of 4 and 5 stars downtown that have good prices even on game weekends), GREAT food city, and the stadium is right downtown. It's a guy's road trip dream - only New Orleans and Denver would rank higher IMO.

Game atmosphere - 9/10
City 9/10
Ticket and Hotel Cost 8/10 GREAT bang for your buck on hotels and game tickets reasonable for new stadium and decent team
Total score: 26/30
Money no object: 18/20

1. tie Dolphins (London) I haven't been to an NFL game in London but I did see U2 there during their 360 tour in the summer of 2009. The stadium is relatively far away but the "tube" takes you there, innit mate? Decent tailgating outside of the pitch, but the prices are bad. They did have authentic nosh like steak pies, fish and chips, and lager for your mates Finch and Gareth Keenen. Field always looks too slick for American football on TV. Be careful of the Muslims but London is a gas.

Game Atmosphere: 9/10
City 9/10
Ticket and Hotel cost: 2/10
Total score: 20/30
Money no object: 18/20

Unless the game is in dead of winter, I'd highly recommend making Saints @ Vikings your annual "Saints road trip" game.

Cheers mates - happy to answer any and all questions

I'd rather watch the game in prison than go to that shite hole. Can't cover up a shitty place with a new stadium.

Any west coast game (Chargers, Rams, Cardinals, etc) is #1 for me cause it gives me and some friends an excuse to party in Vegas for a couple of days and pretend we're gonna go to the game. Hoping that Rams game is Sept/early Oct.

We are thinking of Minny for our trip this year. Weve done Dallas, Denver, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Phoenix, and San Diego. Had a blast in all cities with Pitt being my top. Never been to Minneapolis so I'm glad to see you rank it so well.

90% chance I'm going to Minnesota.
10% chance I go to Buffalo.
I have to wait for the schedule release next week to know for sure.
