The one thing I do find interesting is that McCown did spread the ball around last week. Brees seems fixated with Ingram on passing routes.

In the OPs defense, Brees isn't exactly excelling. Its certainly not all his fault, but maybe a change would be good at this point. I'm thinking more of his shoulder not being ready to go tho than anything else.
