PT to Pats?
PT to Jets?
2013 1st round pick?
Chris Ivory for a 3rd or 4th round pick?

I think thats all the possible trade options to get more picks outside of trading down.

I wanna keep PT. He succeeds in our offense. Now Ivory I would love to get more picks for.

How do you plan on getting more picks from the Pats?

Patriots only have the 2 second round picks left in this draft

ETA sorry misread your post

Why does everyone always want to trade ivory? Why not Ingram they are basically the same type of player and ivory is faster and more powerful.

Why not trade Ingram for a 3rd or 4th?

Ivory is cheaper and better.

I can't believe that after how the past 2 seasons ended that ANY Saints fan wants to REDUCE the number of running backs in our stable.

WE LOST TO SEATTLE BECAUSE WE HAD NO RUNNING BACKS

WE LOST TO SAN FRANCISCO BECAUSE WE HAD NO RUNNING BACKS

because it would trip Ingrams bonus money and it would cost roughly 5 mill to trade him and only clear 1 million off the books. so we would lose 4 million in cap space plus add the value you pay the draft pick its around 5 million lose.

I dunno if ya could even get a 2nd for PT with the way RBs are now valued- along with having a still manageable but higher dollar contract.

So I look at who's left. Who would I give PT for?
Not much. There are some OL if they aren't convinced about the future of dlP, Tennant, & Charles Brown. Outside of that maybe DTs Still and Worthy. Vinny Curry might be the most attractive that would have high impact here. Stephen Hill is worth it but there are plenty of speedy WRs that could fill Meachem's role in the 3rd-4th Rd.

Who would I trade the 2013 1st Rd pick for? I don't see any screaming value that would warrant that.

Laugh all you want ivory dominates when he gets a chance and is by far better than Ingram.

I don't care if Ingram was a rookie ivory dominated when he was and was well on his way to 1000+ yards before getting hurt. Its just sad how saints fans undervalue his contributions considering our team us made of hard workers, guys who nobody wanted but Ingrams a 1st rounder so of course he is better to some of you.

You guys had about 42 RB's active and healthy this season. Last season, well, I'll give ya that.
