With out thinking I would have said 57... But for the 2014 roster Roaf would be money.

I worry about WR in 2014 but freakin Eric Martin would be clutch for Breeze.

My fun pick would be Tinker Owens...

Sorry LSU homers, but deuce in his prime was 100 x better than Hilliard in his prime.

Since the most obvious choice have been given, I'll throw out Wes Chandler.

Jimmy Taylor or Stabler Or if he had to be with the Saints in his prime, Ricky Jackson

Chuck Muncie or Sam Mills.Despite his off the field problems, Muncie was just unbelievable on the field. I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Sam Mills when I worked at a group home for under-priviledged kids. Sam came and took the kids to a haunted house on Halloween. Such a cool, gracious guy. Huge loss.

I don't believe you have to be a LSU homer to realize the contributions of Dalton Hilliard.

1,126 carries (1,429 for Deuce)
4,164 yards (6,096)
3.7 YPC (4.3 YPC)
39 TD (49 TD)
249 receptions (234)
2,233 rec yards (1,720)
9.0 YPR (7.4)
14 TD (5 TD)

5 fumbles (19 fumbles for Deuce)

4 TD passing (1 TD throw by Deuce)

Both had great careers with the Saints and either in his prime would be an upgrade to what we currently have.

I'm not sure how you can claim 100x better unless you're just trying to take a shot at LSU.

In his prime (not during his Saints years), Erick Allen. Lined up opposite Lewis with Bailey at the nickel and Vacarro with Byrd; potentially the best secondary in NFL history.

Not sure what Deuce would give us currently that we don't already have. With Brees at QB, I don't think Deuce would have been a better back for us than Pierre has been. (And I love Deuce).

Deuce is better than all the RBs we have on our team currently. He would add so much balance to this roster. PT is good, but he's not as good as Deuce. We'd get those 3rd and 1s every time with him in the backfield.

I don't why "Erick" is driving me nuts, but it is.

Roaf all day. Jim Mora would say the same thing.

in what world is 3.7 YPC good? lol

Hilliard was so overrated.

I had it as Eric before I checked on the SP. "Erick" is pretty fricked, I can think of a few other variations that make much more sense of the name.

Roaf is probably the safest bet. That would give us a ridiculous O-line and ensure that Brees is protected.
