PFF also said LSU had the best OL in CFB last year, just saying.

Was the 20th overall pick on most mocks.

Allowed 1 sack.

Saints have an aging RT

But, but terrible pick.

I always love the local news Facebook posts after non-sexy positions are picked. AW MAN SHUDA TRADED FOR WATSON. WYD LOOMIS Y U NO PIC DFENZE. Just absolute cringeworthy garbage when Brees needs time to pass and there will be elite d available at the top of the 2nd thanks to the qb reaches.

This is another solid, unflashy pick. Skill positions get all the hype, but championships are built on the lines. Both of the players we wanted most on defense had already been taken right before this pack, our next tier defensive picks should be around at 42, so we address another position of need and help get younger on the o-line. I have no issue with this pick, especially if we get a good lb or defensive end at 42.

So they're saying we should have traded up for Foster and still get the #1 rated OT with 42?

If we still have 42, what did we use to trade up?

what if they go Kizer or Cook at 42? still feel good about it?

i'm just asking, as a hypothetical, because everyone is just assuming we are going to go defense with the next pick, but we've seen shite like this from Payton and Co. before... falling in love with offensive players and neglecting the defense... it's why we are in the shape we're in on that side the ball as it is....
