Separated shouldn't isn't a long term injury for a WR.
I think he'll be back. But, his last game will be this year.

He's done as a Saint if this is true. I mean, he was already done, but now it's official. He was one of the greats and I'll miss him.

It's a shame his career ended this way. Well he had a great run he should be put in the ring of honor in a couple years.

So could the TV announcer. I don't mean to pile on, but, well shite, it just seems like a lack of attention to detail, to me. Certainly, an attention to detail was a hallmark of the Saints' coaching staff in past years. This year ... sorry, but Payton looks comatose. I mean, the guy is holding his arm by his side, he's pointing to his shoulder, and the sideline reaction is, "ah, frick it... just stay in."
