Even if he is able to come back we know that he’s a walking labia and it’s only a matter of time until his next boo-boo. Has there been word how bad Throckmorton’s injury was?

Like last year Penning will probably start and learn on the job. I would guess that Hurst gets the starting nod and Peat would have to stay healthy and earn it back. Good luck with that.

Penning becoming a good LT is fundamentally important to the saints next few years. If he is a bust, either because of ability or reliability, it will be nearly impossible for the saints to go very far. They need cost controlled production from the LT.
And if you believe penning a good LT this year, it’s easy to find some optimism about the saints OL.
