Andrus Peat has agreed to deal with #Saints, per @Rand_Getlin. That would make all 9 picks signed.

NEW ORLEANS -- The New Orleans Saints have signed first-round offensive lineman Andrus Peat to a four-year deal.

The Saints took Peat with the 13th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Peat is a 6-7, 316 pound tackle who came out of Stanford. He started every game he played in the last two seasons and earned All-American honors and the Morris Trophy in the 2014 season.

"He's got all the things you look for," Payton said after the draft. "He's smart. He's big. He's very athletic. He's got a tremendous makeup to be real good in this league."

The Saints did not release the exact terms of the deal, but as with all first rounders, the deal includes a fifth-year team option.

Peat looks to battle right tackle Zach Strief for the starting job.

I think the rookie slot system is probably the best thing the NFL and NFLPA have agreed to in the last 20 years. No more hold outs for 70 million dollar busts
