He's tanking for a better draft pick. By making Thomas, Unger, and Robertson inactive he gets to see what he has in Letilo, Anthony, and Snead or Coleman to see if they are worth being here for the future. Also him shutting down Vaccaro for the year to not cause a distraction for next year was also smart. Playoffs weren't gonna happen even if we would have won this game.
Let's enjoy these games like preseason games, and look forward to a very promising 2017.

This year was a lot about injury and still finding chemistry, not to mention youth. Next year will be better in all three areas not to mention having a rookie who is hopefully plug and play, and having Hau'oli Kikaha back.

1. Make Brees inactive the rest of the season.
2. Promote Garrett Grayson from the practice squad.
3. Make Brandin Cooks inactive for offseason trade.
4. Rest and keep healthy OL injured starters.
5. Rest and keep healthy Mark Ingram for future trade.
6. CSP keeps mouth shut about full time officials.

SIGN ME UP FOR THIS PLAN!
Lets get a late first for Cooks. And use it on a taller speedster (Westbrook from OU?) What does this accomplish? It shows the team and future members there is no room for selfish players. Drew Brees makes WR's not the other way around. We know what we have with Cooks and he showed his softside yet again yesterday. Good riddance.
We saw that Coleman is getting better, Snead is solid, & Mike Thomas is a future star. Thanks for your time Cooks. Lets trade him before letting him walk.
