So SP suspension says he cant be at the games with the team. That being said do you think he buys a suite and attends on his own? or watches it from his home in Dallas?

If this is true
"So SP suspension says he cant be at the games with the team."

Do you really think he can do this?

Well he's not with the team. If they didn't want him at the games they shouldn't have included the "with the team" part.

Goodell dangled the return of our 2013 pick as an incentive to keep Payton from engaging in any funny business.

That would be awesome to see Payton up in a suite just chilling with his wife having a grand ole time during saints game. Maybe put on a headset and be like "what! I'm just listening to some tunes!"

since the state of louisiana owns the superdome (and the NFL can't tell a state who they can and can't hire), they could hire him to be a bartender in Mr Benson's suite and then he could attend the games.

Then while he is pouring Mr Benson a cold beverage, he could be texting the next play down to the offense.

He could submit suggestions to plays through an IM thread on TD or SR

you know, on my way home today, listening to Deke and Bobby, i was thinking about something similar to this.... i mean, Payton knows the play calling by heart, so he could easily be watching the game somewhere and know exactly which play to call at that moment.... text it or tweet it or facebook it, and if it can get thru the backchannels fast enough (that's the limiting factor, imo).... just sayin'

Im not too worried about the play calling with Pete and Drew still together. I think Payton has a huge influence on gameplans.

Yeah, I think you have enough structure and veteran leadership in place to keep things rolling. What you'll probably miss without Payton is the outside the box thinking, like planning an unexpected onsides kick during the SuperBowl.

The Mercedes-Benz Superdome officials should hire Sean Payton to operate the down marker stick along the home team's sideline.
