Our Gambling D

Is it time we bring in a new DCoordinator with a different system? This gambling routine blows up on us more than it helps.

It works when we get turnovers...we haven't been very successful at turnovers this year.

Yep, one of the real limitations of this type of defense is if you don't get the turnovers or the sack, you get burned a lot.

However, what infuriated me the most was when we had them in 3rd and forever and they were still able to run a draw play for almost 20 yards.

We've given up third and forevers a lot this year. Teams have GW firgured it it seems to me.

adding to this, it's more than annoying to watch them rush to get the 1st. I know a pass seems obvious on a 3rd and forever..but

Well 75% of our defensive line, 33% of our linebackers, and 100% of our secondary was either drafted in the 1st or 2nd round.

I think that's more investment in our starting defensive (picks wise) than in our offense.
