They gave him a one week tryout during the season.
They were completely shocked by his explosion.
He literally knew nothing about the game. Nothing.
They assigned an injured DT to be his personal coach basically.

Did nothing year one. Didn't have a clue.
Spring ball he was a different guy. He made "travel team".
2nd year he became a starter, made a lot of mental mistakes.
Year 3 dominant.
Year 4 sky rocketed. #1 ranked player on Canada at any position.

HC talked to 26 of 32 NFL teams about him. 17 teams came to ProDay just to see him alone.
They knew the Saints would take him. Bill Johnson was one person that stayed after to talk with Coaches, David and everyone.
