Every game we lost this year happened when I put the 9 foot flag out front.... my wife put it out before every win.

We actually went to Detroit (Seattle game) and I put it out last minute as we prepared to back out the garage. I also got inpatient with her to put it up for St. Louis so I did it myself

Usually I watch the first quarter then go and lay in my room for the 2nd and 3rd to read the Game Thread then go back in for the 4th. Everytime I've done so we have won. Everytime I've missed a whole game or watched a whole game we have lost

Whenever I go to a bar to watch the Saints play an away game in the playoffs, the girls are always wearing their clothes. Well, this is game day. Take one for the team. Name the bar.

I'm DVRing the game. Only times I've done this was against Dallas and Car (the first game). Plus I won't be able to watch it do to family stuff so bet the house on the Saints.

There's a song made by some local artists in NOLA.. They made it in 2009 during our SB run. It's called Heart of the City (Who Dat) by Team MF'n.

It's sort of odd but it always pumps me up. So I listen to it every gameday in the morning to get me ready

Here's a YT vid with it in it. It's available on iTunes too.

On the book of face back in 2009 I started doing these silly little saints prayers...

one from the superbowl
To the world spirits of the Superbowl, this sunday is the final test of the year for our beloved Saints as they take the field against the Indianapolis Colts. For your consideration I will list the 7 deadly sins and how the Colts have been guilty of breaking all of them ... followed in the "confirmed comment" section.....
Sloth : ( basically being lazy ) Frightened to see if they could finish the season undefeated the colts just stopped playing and sat their starters...... this forced many football fans to demand their ticket money or cable bill payed back in full
Pride : (original sin, desire to be more important than others) Peyton Manning has more commercial air time than the Haiti disaster... from phones, to cable, to tv's, to tampons.. he just enjoys seeing his ugly mug on tv and will rub it in your face.
Lust : (excessive desire of a sexual nature) ESPN has been performing on air fellatio to the Colts basically, they are all ready in bed together.... probably playing tummy sticks and they just crave for more.. lustful goblins!

etc....

I did that all superbowl year... then I got busy with work and family matters.....

I have once again done it for every game this year and I , deep in my immature soul, think it helps... here is todays...

To the Lords of the Lombardi Trophy,
Tonight, (yes TONIGHT, to the casual Saints fan) our beloved Saints travel up to Philly to start their march to the Superbowl. Ahhh... Philedelphia.. the town of brother lovers... Gods, Philly has many sins under their belt. First off, Gluttony. A cheesesteak sounds like a bunch of chefs got lazy and said, "Bro, I love cheese, and TOTES love steak... BOOM, cheesesteak!" This is nowhere near as refined as a muffaletta or po boy. You might as well just add bacon to the damn thing for the trifecta... mmmmm... I'll be right back. *makes heart attack between bread.
The eagles biggest sin is Wrath. The fans and locals are notorious for the fighting and general hate that swells in their city. Hell, even the Fresh Prince was forced to move because of one little fight (RIP uncle Phil). "The Always Sunny" crew are just horrible people that cause pain and anguish to everyonethey meet, to my amusement of course. I mean, these fans, all hopped up on their hater-ade, even booed and pelted Santa with snowballs. That deserves some serious smite!
And then there is Rocky. What is there to say about Rocky? First off Adrianne should be ashamed of herself... she was berating and fornicating with Sloth from the goonies.. this guy was legally retarted. But did the Philly fans stop the mongoloid from getting his face punched in? No! They watched and cheered as a simpleton got pounded. The only reason he won was because the good guys, like Clubber Lang, felt sorry for the shitty town.
I honestly can't hate too much on Philedelphia. They were an intricate part in making the greatest country ever known....... but still.... Smite them! Let our defense kick them square in their Liberty Balls and crack them! Amen and Who Dat!?!

Only weird if it doesn't work.

I'm superstitious about telling people my superstitions. So I can't say. Although I may be breaking my superstition with this post by telling you guys that I'm superstitious about not telling people about my superstitions.
