34-13 Vikings............. lose.

Favre throws two picks, no TDs. Peterson gets a goal line TD in 4th Q play after the game is out of hand.

28-20 Vikings win.

I'm sorry to have to say it, but the Saints really don't match up well with the Vikings. I think after tonight, everyone is going to realize how much the Saints will miss Darren Sharper this year.

Brett Favre will miss most of the 2nd qtr after pooping in his britches & has to go the locker room to change his adult diaper. That's when the Saints pull ahead for a double digit lead going into halftime. The Saints will wrap up the victory after Favre spends the 4th qtr on the bench after the batteries for his Rascal Scooter die and his walking cane is broken when Johanthan Vilma sacks him.

Saints 34, Vikings 20

The score will be a lot closer than the feel of the game.

This will be the seventh season in a row the NFL has opened with its defending Super Bowl champion at home on a Thursday night, taking one last victory lap before its adoring crowd and a national TV audience. And while there's always a worthy adversary on the other sideline, the banner-hanging defending champs are 6-0 in this set-up, with a healthy 11.2 point average margin of victory.

I'm going with 37-23 Saints.

Peterson 3 fumbles (2 lost)

Favre 1 TD 2 INT (out by 3rdQ)

Chance of a Viking player getting ejected: 68%

My score was way off but I think this part of my prediction is pretty spot on. Truthfully we should of won by 2 scores.
