I wonder if this is what all of the other fan bases went through when they lost a HoF QB. Not everyone can be as fortunate as SF (Montana-Young) and GB (Favre-Rogers), so I can only imagine how their fans react with 50/50 being reasonable knowing it will be a process, and the other half demanding a Brees prime caliber guy to just step in.

Winston has been okay. All his WRs are undrafted guys. Brees was throwing to Thomas, Sanders, and Smith.
Winston does not have any of those guys.
The defense is still good.

So far it’s a push, if by noodle arm you mean the last 2 years of Brees.
I think we are seeing the floor of Winston under Payton though, so expect to prefer Winston over the noodle arm version of Brees as each week passes.

Yeah a person with half a brain can distinguish what I mean by noodle arm, of course I'm talking about his last 4 years as a saint his arm strength fell off a cliff. But he was never known for his superior arm strength he had the other intangibles it took to be an all time great. I'd take noodle over what I've seen, Brees made everyone around him better I don't think Winston who is very talented is capable of that, time will tell.
