The NFL has confirmed that it fined Matthews $5,787 for throwing the ball into the stands.
Handing the ball to a fan is okay.
I've just always thought if I was a player I would pay $6K to throw a ball as high in the stands as you can reach. Would be a unique trademark. The crowd anticipation would e great.
The nazi NFL would prolly raise the fine if continuing tho I spose. No Fun League

Its overt financial racism of the NFL.
The NFL only wants to reward the rich sideline ticket buyers with game balls.
