Yes losing Drew is a punch in the balls but this team still is better than anyone in our division. Yesterday was a perfect storm of bullshite so I’m not going to harp on it. We still have a top 5 OL who may even be the very best in the league (we without a doubt have the best OT duo). We have two elite of the elite RB and WR and we have a defense that has shown they can be one of the better units in the league. They were gassed yesterday from being t on the field all game and the bullshite call on the Goff fumble had a momentum effect. We have a backup qb who has been to a pro bowl and another who has all the potential in the world running and throwing in Taysom Hill. Given a full week to prepare Teddy and alter the game plan to his strength will help the offense. There is no reason this team can’t keep in contention for 6 weeks or so without Drew. If we can go 3-3 and get Drew back as a 4-4 team for the stretch run I think everyone would be happy. That’s not at all unreasonable.

Just thinking about that fumble recovery.. As I watch most of the league that play is ALWAYS allowed to continue until review..

For some reason I feel like this isn’t the 1st time I’ve seen this with us.. only this time its blown up..

I’ve seen whistles blown early on Saints games a little more often then im used to.. I know I wasn’t overthinking either

I mean sure we can win some games. Win 9 or 10? No way without drew. Also any word on Peat?

the good news is in our division, one other team has a hurt QB (Cam-Panthers) and the other team has a terrible one (Jameis-Bucs)

ATL doesn't look great, even though they pulled that game out last night

so this is a year where 9-7 may be enough

The question isn’t can we win games with Bridgewater but can we even score touchdowns. He’s horrible.

If we had to lose an OL Peat is the one to lose. He is consistently the worst graded of the bunch every week.

It’s one game against one of the best teams in the league. Teddy got thrown into the fire there so I’ll wait to pass judgement when he’s had time to prepare. No doubt Sean has to alter the offense to more of a short, quick passing game because Teddy holds the ball too long when he tries to push the ball downfield. This is where we are going to miss Mark Ingram. We need his bowling ball between the tackles power run game more than ever right now. I would give the Ravens Murray and a 3rd round pick to get Ingram back right now.
