Nice first game

Brees was money. Take away the drops and he's close to 80% completions which is unbelievable considering it usually takes a couple games for a passing offense to fully come together.
The running game salted away a game against a legit D. That is a great sign. They will need to be able to run out the clock on teams a lot this season.
The D was very solid. Better than almost any point last year.
Lots of positives tonight.

Yep. They didn't crack but rather came back then refused to let Minny climb back in. Thats how its done.

Good game...considering we dropped at least 2 first downs and a touchdown.

Brees is playing out of his mind. These last couple seasons are the best I've ever seen a qb play.

Jenkins looked good filling in at FS. Greer and Porter looked really good except for the one play to Camarillo. Harper looked really good in coverage on Stank-ho and made nice tackles at the LOS.
Great to see Heath Evans back. He had a great block on Jared Allen and of course his catch on 3rd down was money.
Can't wait for MNF. Our D will make Alex Smith a basket case.

Granted its only one game, but I feel a little better now about Sharper missing at least 5 more games.
