was reading something that was saying that we have a pretty decent alabama connection on staff or something along those lines. Not sure if we met with OJ Howard either... Saints may not need to feel like they needed to.

Can't recall who, or how many, off-hand, but I'm pretty sure that we've drafted guys early without meeting with them. IIRC, Payton has said in the past that we mostly meet with guys that we have questions about. So, if there are no questions to be had about a prospect, they don't waste a visit.

Agreed, and it seems like a very Saints-like pick. I'd almost be surprised if we don't end up with another Ohio State player in this draft. I think the two most likely are Conley and Curtis Samuel.
