sproles never really was a very fast player. he is really quick but his top end speed was never really there.

While i understand while Sproles was traded the Cooks logic makes no sense to me. Cooks is not a running back and cannot do the same things as a running back. Just look at Percy Harvin who is similar to Cooks, Does Seattle line him Harvin in the backfield more than once or twice a game no because that would be a dead give away. Cooks is a game changer no doubt but the Cooks or Sproles argument makes little sense. The NFL is not a zero sum game and the Saints are worse off without Sproles however due to the salary cap we had to let him go.

Giving Ingram, PT, and Robinson touches is better than giving sproles touches. He was one dimensional at the end
