Patriots got the 3 rd for losing Revis. No way should a guy count for compensatory picks unless he has been with the team several years. Patriots have been using this loophole for years. Doesn't make any damn sense.

Nope, bc I have always viewed Loomis a a pawn in the whole situation. He is not a football guy and doesn't make personnel decisions, that comes from SP & the scouting dept. His job is to get the guys they want to sign and make sure to make the deal work as best he can.
I blame Vitt bc Casillas was a solid back-up LBer for us and he was never able to develop into a solid starter. I remember a lot of people being upset when the team let him walk (do not recall a discussion about trying to bring him back) so he went to a conference rival in TB.

No we get nothing for Browner because we didn't lose him we cut him...we also should have never signed any of our free agents although I like bringing back Kelemente back but the rest should have been history specially Luke McCown what a waste of money..

The only thing harder to figure out than women is how the frick the NFL decides to award compensatory picks. That shite is like some voodoo black magic.
