The frigid weather calls for a Bears victory but I think that Pierre Thomas will have a repeat performance of last year at Soldier Field. I also think that Will Smith will come to play again. Come on boys, let's keep those playoff hopes alive.

Shitty weather, low scoring, our offense is better.

Great in the Dome, but BAD outdoors, and this game is, well, outdoors.

da Bears 24
Saints 20

Playoff chances G-O-N-E, like the above- freezing temps in Chicago until March

Should be a great game! We NEED to run the ball to open up that play action, ohh and the wheel route to reggie again anyone?!? Note to Reggie... Dont point at Urlacher again. We dont want him to try and kill you or knock off Brees' head kthx

This is tough. Should we base our prediction on wishful thinking or objective thinking?
OK wishful:

long range weather models barely go out to thursday (so take it with a grain of salt).. but they're forecasting 40 degrees and rain. probably changing over to snow as the night goes on

that means a Saints loss I'm afraid

eta: but I'll keep an eye on them.. hopefully the GFS will change its mind and be merciful to our guys

baytiger, I know you're the weather dude... but what are you talking about?

They've got it in the mid 20's around kickoff with only a 10% chance of flurries.

Thursday: Partly to mostly cloudy. Cold. High 24F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph.

With winds swirling like that and the cold (Likely sub 20 degrees by nightfall), look for a low scoring defensive battle with the Saints gutting out an ugly performance.

Saints- 17
Bears- 10
