11. New Orleans Saints: Reuben Foster, LB, Alabama

Given that the Saints finished last in the NFL against the pass in 2016, adding one of the talented cornerbacks from this year's class would seem like a shoo-in selection. Instead, look for the Saints to go bigger. With remarkable closing speed and the physicality to intimidate, Foster could offer immediate impact ability against both the pass and run.

I think the need for a CB is really being overrated

I'm on board. If the Saints get a starting level G, CB and DE in FA then I will be even more on board.

It's a need...just not anywhere near the top. O-Line, DE, LB, & retaining Fairley are all more important imo.

If Byrd is cut...you could make a case for safety as well.

I'm on the Foster train as of the middle of February.

jags taking another RB other then Fournette is BS, home town flavor isnt enough to justify passing on Fournette if you are taking a RB

a few other selections there equally don't make much sense so this is just a meaningless "randomly throwing darts at the board to select players just to have something to talk about" mock draft

It's all about health. If Breaux, Williams, and Swann come back healthy then I agree.

Resign Fairley and take the best DE available(hopefully we don't whiff on the pick)
And we will have maybe the best DL in the NFL!
That's how you build a defense!

Serious question, why is fournette a lock?

I'm an lsu fan and I think the guy is top notch character wise.. but the injuries have to be a yellow flag, right?

Sorry for threadjack

I am on board with this, the best Defensive player available with the exception of a Safety should be chosen.

I would love Foster. He's an enforcer like a Cam Chancellor, he doesn't just make tackles he tries to burry people. Foster round 1 T.J Watt round 2, that's a whole lot of attitude!

Barnett or Foster would be great for us

Fournette isn't falling to us and our secondary is fine if our pass rush has a pulse
