I agree with you. The other thing (and I know I'll get some hate for this) Jordan and Gallette get held so bad, it's not even funny.

ill go ahead and disagree with this thread. We blitz enough to prevent the step-up in the middle.
Our guys just arent beating their man. We're back to only getting a sack when the opposing OLine whiffs on a blocking assignment and we come clean.

The missed tackles are the #1 issue. We make contact with the running backs at the line of scrimmage lots of times but can't bring them down. Murray looked like Jim Brown on Sunday. It is also why teams keep taking eight yard catches for 20-30 yards. Piss poor tackling. This is more of a player effort problem than a coaching issue.
ETA: We are definitely not getting any push up the middle of the pocket either. That's why Matt Ryan and Tony Romo looked like HOFers against us.

Hicks stepping his play up may help those two areas, but the biggest weakness of our defense is the side opposite of Lewis.

I does feel like we're flushing the QB out a lot and then he's getting away. That was basically THE story of the Falcons game.

Exactly. The pressure that we're creating isn't doing shite if the QB gets away, only to hit an open receiver down the field.

Yeah and this happened several times during the Dallas game as well, so much so that the announcers were commenting on how mobile Romo looked compared to week one. Cam and Gallette are getting in there, but no one is cleaning it up.
