Have yall noticed that since Payton's exit the ticky tacky/mystery flags that constantly extended drives for other teams have disappeared?

I am not saying that we now get all the calls or that the refs don't miss stuff/call unnecessary stuff but I am no longer enraged on a weekly basis due to some BS call that either fricked us or almost fricked us like I was especially 2017-2020.

You didn't watch the game Monday night did you?

I sure did, which call did you find egregious?

I also watched the opener where a CLEAR fumble by Carr was ruled in our favor. Never would have happened with SP at the helm.

Both flags on Adebo were ticky tack.

While Olave caught a ball with two hands being held behind his back with no flag in sight. Definitely head scratching.

The phantom defensive holding call on third down late in the game to extend their drive for starters. The one that the referee wasn't mic'd up for on the call, wasn't shown on replay, and the announcers had no idea what was going on. Ring a bell?

They actually did show the replay a few plays later, and there was a clear hold down the field during that play. It had no bearing on the play, but he held Chark.

There will always be missed calls/non calls.

It does feel like its been considerably better. But i guess some people will get pissy over every call against the saints

The refs kept the game close.

I wouldn’t say it was a “clear hold”. Opponents of the Saints are labeled “physical” when they play us like that and it’s never called
