My issue is this: during the Coach/Organization phase, the line handed by the NFL was this took place in 09, NFL told them to stop, they didnt, so they were punished.

If this is the case, why did Scott Fujita get suspended for three games, since he was no longer with the team after 09?

This is all brought on by this lawsuit former players. In a class action suit they filed against the NFL for head damages they (the former players)new since high school they were subject to, plain and simple. The big money the NFL generates will get to the court system and deny what these former players are wanting. And the NFL will say. Plead there innocence, we are doing what we can to stop all of this violence/harm, with suspending, ending careers, to make this point. Its why football players make a lottery winners paycheck every year. Its a lot of money, but, hey, you could get hurt or have lingering effects from this game after you retire. Boxing and this new form of fighting, kick boxing, rolling around like queers, whatever it is, will follow suit, just like the former football players. Hey, we didn't know continous punching in the head my damage my brain. Huh.

Who give a damn about Fujita? As a Saints fan my biggest issue is that Roger Goodell has destroyed the Saints a team that had become part of the NFL elite and had a real chance to play at home in a Superbowl. We know that the same crap occurred everywhere Williams coached. Players from around the league say the bounty gate issues are common on most teams. It has been pointed out that the pre-game Williams "kill" talk apparently was not played out on the field. What about fricking spy gate? And on, and on, and on . . . You suspend a head coach for a year, assistant head coach and GM for half the season, take away draft picks!!!!!! for what?? no one knows except Goodell - And this WILL DESTROY THE SAINTS to below a 500 TEAM FOR AT LEAST A YEAR AND PROBABLY SEND US BACK TO 1967. Payton will never coach the Saints again, he's living in the town of his next coaching job - Dallas. He's not nor will free agent want to join the Aints. So why do this to a team? It's hard to believe Roger is being anti-New Orleans, but his actions are - While most of the fans and players on other teams are probably loving this (as I would if it happen to . . . Atlanta) - if he doing this to N.O., who's next. This is beyond belief and I don't have a clue why it is happening to the Saints - because some of the Saints coaches lied to Goodell? - What BullSh*t.

Great, but still doesnt answer my question. The NFL made several statements regarding the punishment being because the Saints continued the program, yet all their evidence, and suspensions, point towards the 09 season and prior. This doesnt add up.

nice chad. also. why is it so hard for other fans and media outlets to understand this same realization?

I'm not too quick to call out other teams fans too harshly. It's not their team so they hear the accusations and move on. Most that I have talked to hear our side and are surprised that they haven't heard that information.

I'm sure most of us have been guilty of the same thing.

I am curious to hear from fans from the other teams that are affected by the suspensions. Green Bay, Cleveland, and St. Louis. Especially Cleveland.

I'm curious how non-Patriot fans reacted to a Patriot scandal and its treatment by the NFL.

You're talking about how non-Saints fans reacted to a Saints scandal and its treatment by the NFL.

Well, like I said, non patriots fans probably just took the medias line and ran with it. I never cared to dig deeper, maybe you did but I bet you were in the minority.

I still don't understand what your comment has to do with my post.

I linked a couple commentators and analysts videos that respond to your statements:

quote:

this WILL DESTROY THE SAINTS to below a 500 TEAM FOR AT LEAST A YEAR AND PROBABLY SEND US BACK TO 1967.

LINK

quote:

Payton will never coach the Saints again, he's living in the town of his next coaching job - Dallas.

LINK

quote:

nor will free agent want to join the Aints.

Free Agents

In conclusion

GTFO out, no one wants you here. Next season when we are kicking arse dont come on here and praise the Saints just stay the frick at home.
