I'd take this kid to be Brees replacement.
He has an arm and moxie. I've watched him this summer in training camp and he's doing well so far in this preseason game.
Looking better in the pocket than last season. He'd be the starter for the Bills or Jets...not that that's saying much...be he has a good presence and a very strong arm.

I understand Mett looks nice but no. Did you not see Griffin & Grayson? We had this discussion like 5 times last season.

I understand that this was brought up several times last season.
I was just stating how I feel about Mett. Nothing against Griffin & Grayson...I think both are very promising and have potential. I'm fine with the Saints situation with G & G behind Brees.

I like Mett fine. He has a great arm for sure and impressed me at times last season. I need to see more from him first. Also, there are serious concerns about his durability.

There are tons of other boards for LSU related shite. Why post it here? Nobody gives a frick about past LSU players unless they are on the Saints roster.

I don't give a frick about LSU or former LSU players unless they're on the Saints.
I'm a Saints fan in Nashville...so I get more exposure on a daily basis to Titans football. The Titans/Falcons game of course was broadcast locally where I am. And I've seen Mettenberger a lot over the past 12 months. He'll be starting for someone next year or after.
I was just making pre-season BS talk. I don't care if he was from LSU or Iowa State. I'd just like him in the Saints organization under CSP. But as I said I am fine w/ the G&G situation at quarterback.
I hope LSU loses every game this upcoming season...except against Ole Miss and Alabama.

Mett is ready now though that would be the only issue with him being here and i would not trade brees for anyone not named Aaron Rodgers.
